Why you'd want to live in Oro Medonte
Oro-Medonte (Oro) is a large township in South-central Ontario, with waterfront properties along the rugged Eastern shores of Lake Simcoe. The two neighboring townships of Oro and Medonte were merged in 1994, under a restructuring of Simcoe County. Referred to an outdoor paradise, the area is best known for it's semi-rural lifestyle with estate lots, forests, trails, boating, ski resorts and cross country biking in the Copeland Forest. Other surrounding and popular communities include Shanty Bay, Sugarbush, Moonstone, Hawkestone, Gutherie and Craighurst. The general lifestyle of Oro satisfies all walks of life, including retirees, business professionals, young families, investors and the weekend enthusiast.
